Details:
On or about Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021, around 5:36 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle left one individual dead. Deputies from the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported at the intersection of North 10th Street and Commercial Street in San Jose, California.
Law enforcement spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were riding was allegedly hit by a garbage truck that had pulled out of a business driveway on North 10th Street. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the motorcycle dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of North 10th Street and Commercial Street is a short distance north of downtown San Jose.
Police are still investigating the crash.
