Details:
On or about Friday, November 26th, 2021, a serious accident with logs that allegedly fell from a tractor-trailer sent one individual to the hospital. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Highway 275 just outside Norfolk in Stanton County, Nebraska.
Officials said one as-of-yet unidentified 45-year-old man was injured when the car he was driving was allegedly hit by a log that had fallen from a log truck while driving down Highway 275. Paramedics transported the driver of the car to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
Police said the driver of the tractor-trailer returned to the scene.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
