On or about Tuesday, December 2nd, 2021, around 7:00 in the evening, a hit-and-run accident between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian sent one individual to the hospital. Officials said the accident was reported at the intersection of Baldwin Boulevard and Cloyde Street in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Police from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when they were allegedly struck by a passing motorist as they were walking down or made an attempt to cross the lanes at or near the intersection of Baldwin Boulevard and Cloyde Street. The vehicle fled the scene of the accident. Emergency responders transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Baldwin Boulevard and Cloyde Street is on the south side of Corpus Christi.
Authorities are still looking for the vehicle.
