On or about Friday, December 3rd, 2021, a major single-vehicle accident claimed the life of one individual. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the North Loop near the exchange with Highway 290 in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the HPD said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when the vehicle they were driving allegedly veered off the side of North Loop and slammed into barrel barriers a short distance out of the lane. The driver of the vehicle was ejected in the crash before they were run over by another vehicle and died from his injuries a short time after emergency responders arrived at the scene.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the northwest side of Houston.
