On or about Wednesday, February 9th, 2022, around 9:30 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and an oil delivery truck sent one person to the hospital. Investigators from the CSP said the accident was reported along Route 117 in Ledyard, Connecticut.
Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly crashed into the side of an oil delivery truck that was backing across the roadway. Emergency responders transported the driver to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the collision.
According to Google Maps, Ledyard is about 49 miles southeast of downtown Hartford.
Police are sill investigating the collision.
