Details:
On or about Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and an SUV left four people dead and sent three others to the hospital. Spokespeople from the CHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 5 near the exchange with Highway 33 in Fresno County, California.
Officials from the area said four as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed and three others were injured when the Chrysler Aspen SUV they were in allegedly drove off the side of the roadway and slammed into the back of a tractor-trailer on the shoulder of Interstate 5. Paramedics pronounced four individuals dead of their injuries after the accident, while the driver of the SUV and two other passengers were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Interstate 5 and Highway 33 is about 32 miles southwest of Fresno.
