On or about Saturday, March 19th, 2022, around 12:40 in the morning, an accident between a disabled pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left one person dead. Authorities from the NJHP said the accident was reported along Route 29 in Hamilton Township, New Jersey.
Officials from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly slammed into a disabled vehicle they were in on the side of Route 29. Paramedics pronounced one person in the pickup truck dead of their injuries a short time after the collision.
According to Google Maps, Hamilton is about 52 miles southwest of downtown Newark.
