Details:
On or about Friday, January 7th, 2022, around 10:13 at night, an accident between a passenger vehicle and another car sent six individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 79 and County Road 322 in Panola County, Texas.
Authorities said 30-year-old Chrystal Morgan allegedly ran a red light at the intersection of County Road 322 and Highway 79 when it slammed into a Ford Fusion driven by Chalunda Moore in the intersection. Paramedics transported Morgan, Moore, and Moore’s passengers Barbara Pryor and three juveniles to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Police have stated they believe Chrystal Morgan may have been drinking before the accident.
Authorities are still investigating.
