Details:
Betty Hillard and Eva Mulberry were killed and Rhonda Wright critically injured in a collision with a dump truck at US 42 and Beaver Road in Walton, KY. Deputies from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office report the crash took place around 4:26 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
The dump truck, operated by Jeffery Whaley, collided with the Chevy when it began to turn left from Beaver onto US 42. Wright’s vehicle was struck by the dump truck, which then collided with four parked vehicle before crashing into Boonedocks Bar & Grill.
Hillard and Mulberry were pronounced dead at the scene, and Wright was transported to University Hospital with critical injuries. Whaley was treated for minor injuries. Authorities say investigation into the accident is ongoing.
