Details:
On or about Wednesday, January 6th, 2021, around 2:30 in the afternoon, a single-vehicle dump truck accident claimed the life of a 24-year-old man. Law enforcement spokespeople said the accident happened along the Garden State Parkway in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
Troopers from the New Jersey State Police said 24-year-old Brandon Lawson was killed when the dump truck he was driving allegedly hit a barrier and rolled when it veered out of the southbound lanes of the Garden State Parkway. Emergency responders pronounced Lawson dead at the scene a short time after they arrived at the accident.
Police did not mention any other vehicles or injuries in their preliminary report on the crash.
New Jersey State Police and local law enforcement are investigating the accident.
