Details:
On or about Monday, December 14th, 2020, an accident between a pickup truck and farming equipment left one man dead and sent another to the hospital. Department of Public Safety Troopers said the accident happened along Highway 67 near Miles in Runnels County, Texas.
Investigators from the Texas DPS said 37-year-old Brett Mohler was killed and 38-year-old Joshua Joseph Corfield were injured when the pickup they were in collided with John Deer farm equipment. Mohler died at the scene. Paramedics rushed Joshua Corfield to Shannon Medical Center with serious injuries.
Authorities identified the driver of the John Deer as 56-year-old Gregory Irvin Hohnesee, who was also taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Texas DPS Troopers and Deputies from the Runnels County Sheriff’s Office are assisting in the accident investigation.
