Details:
On or about Wednesday, May 12th, 2021, around 8:00 in the morning, an accident between two tractor-trailers and a car left a 59-year-old North Dakota resident dead and sent two people to the hospital. Troopers from the MHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 94 just outside Albany, Minnesota.
Investigators said 59-year-old Brian Dean Lemley was killed, while two other people were hurt when Lemley’s westbound tractor-trailer allegedly crossed over the center line of Interstate 94 and slammed into an 18-wheeler and a car. Paramedics transported one person from the car and the tractor-trailer to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries stemming from the accident. Lemley was pronounced dead of his injuries a short time after the accident.
Interstate 94 runs east and west along the southern edge of Albany, which is about 86 miles northwest of Minneapolis, according to Google Maps.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
