Details:
On or about Wednesday, December 1st, 2021, around 4:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a work truck towing a trailer, a passenger vehicle and a pickup truck sent a 6-year-old child to the hospital. Officials from the area said the accident was reported along Kuebler Boulevard near the intersection with 36th Avenue in Salem, Oregon.
Deputies from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department said an as-of-yet unidentified 6-year-old child was seriously injured when a heavy-duty work truck towing a trailer allegedly rear-ended the car he was in, pushing the car into the back of a nearby pickup truck. Emergency responders transported the child to a nearby hospital where he was being treated for serious injuries.
According to Google Maps, Keubler Boulevard cuts east and west through Salem, which is about 46 miles south of downtown Portland.
Officials are still investigating the incident.
