Details

Cora Estep was killed, Wanda King and Christina Jones seriously injured, after their vehicle was struck by a reportedly intoxicated Daniel Rascon. The accident occurred on the afternoon of December 8, 2024, when, according to the Parker County Department of Public Safety, Rascon was passing in a no passing zone and collided with them head-on. Jones and King were taken to nearby Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital, and Rascon was arrested and charged with Intoxication Manslaughter and two counts of Intoxication Assault.
