Details:
On or about Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, around 9:30 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a dump truck left a 19-year-old man dead and a 40-year-old man injured. Spokespeople from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 259 just outside Kilgore, Texas.
Representatives from the Texas DPS said 19-year-old David L. Fuller IV was killed when the vehicle he was driving allegedly slammed into a dump truck head-on while driving the wrong direction on Highway 259. Paramedics pronounced Fuller dead a short time after the crash, while the driver of the dump truck, identified as 40-year-old William Glasco, who was treated for unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about a half mile north of Kilgore.
Police are still investigating the crash.
