On or about Friday, February 11th, 2022, around 2:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left two men dead. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 190 near the intersection with Farm-to-Market 256 in Tyler County, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas DPS said 54-year-old David King and 65-year-old Raymond Wood were killed when Wood’s pickup truck allegedly crossed over the center line of Highway 190 and struck King’s tractor-trailer. Paramedics pronounced King and Wood dead of their injuries a short time after the accidnet.
According to Google Maps, Tyler County is about 114 miles northeast of downtown Houston.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene of the accident to assist.
