Details:
On or about Friday, October 30th, 2020, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car claimed the life of a 22-year-old man from Krum. Deputies from Tarrant County said the accident happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 in Argyle, Texas.
Troopers said 22-year-old Earl Easley was killed when his car allegedly struck the back of a tractor-trailer. The car wedged itself underneath the truck, and Easley died of his injuries a short time after being rushed to a nearby hospital. No other injuries were mentioned by police.
Looking at Interstate 35 in the area on Google Maps shows a four lane highway, with a wide, grassy median dividing north and southbound traffic. Argyle is located about 41 miles northwest of Dallas.
Texas DPS and Tarrant County officials are investigating the accident.
