On or about Monday, March 28th, 2022, around 9:15 at night, an accident between a pickup truck, a passenger vehicle left a 62-year-old man dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 12 in Orange County, Texas.
Authorities from the area said 62-year-old Earl Lee Gregg was killed when he was allegedly hit by a pickup truck and a passenger vehicle as he was riding his bike alongside or on Highway 12. Emergency responders pronounced Gregg dead of his injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 104 miles east of downtown Houston.
Police are still investigating the incident.
