Details:
On or about Wednesday, October 20th, 2021, around 7:19 in the morning, an accident between a log truck and an SUV left three Grays Harbor men dead. Representatives from the WSP said the accident was reported along Highway 101 just outside of Humptulips, Washington.
Troopers from the Washington State Patrol said Eduardo Barrios Saquiche, Luis Barrios Saquiche, and Elmer Mejia Barrios were killed when a log truck allegedly lost control and rolled onto the Nissan Xterra SUV they were in while driving down Highway 101. Paramedics pronounced all three men dead a short time after the accident. Police identified the log truck driver as 19-year-old Derek Beebe, who was unhurt in the accident.
According to Google Maps, Humptulips is about 125 miles southwest of downtown Seattle.
