On or about Monday, October 5th, 2020, around 6:00 in the morning, 21-year-old Ethan Bates was struck by a tractor-trailer while riding his bike in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
Police have reason to believe Bates was riding his bike somewhere in the vicinity of Highway 51 when he was was struck by a passing tractor-trailer at or near the intersection with West 113th Street. Paramedics transported Bates to nearby hospital in order to be treated for leg and hip injuries.
