On or about Saturday, April 9th, 2022, around 7:25 in the morning, a major accident between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle left a 41-year-old dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and 98th Street in Lubbock, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives said 41-year-old Fabian Alonzo was killed when the motorcycle he was on and a passenger vehicle collided under unspecified circumstances at 98th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Emergency responders rushed Alonzo to nearby University Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after the accident.
