On or about Friday, November 6th, 2020, around 11:30 in the morning, an accident between four cars and a tractor-trailer resulted in injuries. Deputies from the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened on Route 89 in Ulysses, New York.
Law enforcement spokespeople said at least one person was injured after a tractor-trailer and four other vehicles collided in a chain-reaction accident. Police did not disclose how the accident began, only that at least one person was treated for minor injuries after the accident.
Examining Taughannock Road on Google Streetview shows a two lane north/southbound roadway that is heavily wooded on the southbound shoulder. Ulysses is located just north of Ithaca.
