On or about Tuesday, June 29th, 2021, an accident between a tanker truck and a car sent one person to the hospital. Local law enforcement representatives said the accident was reported at a Shell station on Claiborne Hill in Covington, Louisiana.
Police said one as-of-yet individual was killed when a car allegedly struck the side of a tanker truck that was making a delivery at the Shell station. Paramedics treated one person in the car for injuries of an unspecified nature or severity after the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 41 miles north of downtown New Orleans.
