In the early morning hours of November 29, 2024, James Haddix, of Williamsport, PA, was killed when he collided with a garbage being driven by Larry Sauers of Montgomery, PA. The garbage truck was southbound and in the process of making a U-Turn when the accident occurred. According to the Lycoming County Corner, Haddix was killed by blunt force trauma. Larry Sauers and passenger Logan Sauers were uninjured.
