Details:
On or about Thursday, June 2nd, 2022, around 9:17 at night, a major accident between a UPS truck and a passenger vehicle left two people dead. Authorities from the TSP said the accident was reported along Swinnea Road in Memphis, Tennessee.
Officers from the Memphis Police Department said James Williams and Shinreca Brown were killed when the vehicle they were in was allegedly hit by a UPS truck that failed to yield along Swinnea Road. Emergency responders pronounced Williams and Brown dead of their injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident.
Police have since identified the driver of the UPS truck as Davon McDonald, who currently faces a charge of failure to yield right of way causing serious injury in connection with the accident.
