On or about Thursday, January 14th, 2021, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer sent one person to the hospital. Authorities from the MSHP said the accident happened along Highway 6 near Trenton, Missouri.
Troopers from the State Police said 47-year-old Jason Hunter was injured when he was allegedly struck from behind by a tractor-trailer when he slowed to make a turn. Paramedics rushed Hunter to Wright Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident. Police identified the driver of the tractor-trailer as Donald Hand III, who did not report injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is located a mile outside Trenton. Trenton is located about 94 miles northeast of St. Louis.
