John Nicholas Ruiz was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Interstate 35 near Mile Marker 72 in La Salle County, TX. Texas Department of Public Safety reports the crash took place around 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2025. Ruiz was reportedly unable to stay in a single lane while driving, eventually going into the center median a colliding with a cable.
