On or about Wednesday, October 20th, 2021, around 10:00 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and two other vehicles claimed the life of a 44-year-old Pennsylvania man. Troopers from the VSP said the accident was reported along Route 4 in Killington, Vermont.
Police said 44-year-old Joseph Terry was killed when the box truck he was driving allegedly veered off the side of Route 4 as two other vehicles were attempting to pass the truck. Terry was pronounced dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident. Neither of the other drivers were injured in the accident.
According to Google Maps, Route 4 winds east and west through Killington, which is situated about 92 miles south of Burlington.
State police assisted at the scene of the accident.
