Details:
On or about Saturday, December 18th, 2021, around 5:00 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of a 67-year-old woman and sent a 64-year-old man to the hospital. Deputies from the Marinette County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Interstate 41 in Grover, Wisconsin.
Law enforcement spokespeople said 67-year-old Kathy Ann Trepanier was killed, while 64-year-old Lowell Reeck was injured when Reeck’s tractor-trailer allegedly struck Trepanier’s car when she pulled out onto the roadway. Emergency responders pronounced Trepanier dead at the scene, while Reeck was cut from the wreckage and taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
According to Google Maps, the town of Grover is about 47 miles north of downtown Green Bay.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
