Details:
On or about Monday, February 8th, 2021, a pileup accident between three cars and four tractor-trailers left a 51-year-old woman dead. Spokespeople from the OHP said the accident happened on the northbound side of Interstate 35 just outside Guthrie, Oklahoma.
Deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office said 51-year-old Kelly Hillhouse was killed when two tractor-trailers, a cattle truck, and three cars collided in a pileup accident. Officers did not specify how the accident may have started. Hillhouse died of her injuries after the accident.
Law enforcement closed all the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 for sixteen hours in order to investigate the crash and clear the scene.
According to Google Maps, Guthrie is about 32 miles north of Oklahoma City.
Police are still investigating.
