Details:
On or about Thursday, October 21st, 2021, an accident between an SUV and a flatbed truck left two teenagers dead and sent a third to the hospital. Officers from the NYPD said the accident was reported along Westminster Road in West Hempstead, New York.
Police said 19-year-old Kurtis “CJ” Caesar and an as-of-yet unidentified 17-year-old girl was killed when the SUV they were riding in allegedly collided with a parked flatbed truck while driving down Westminster Road. Paramedics pronounced Caesar and the 17-year-old girl dead after the crash, while the as-of-yet unidentified 18-year-old driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, West Hempstead is situated on the south side of Long Island, just south of Queens.
Police are still investigating the crash.
