On or about Saturday, May 7th, 2022, around 2:30 in the morning, a serious two-vehicle car accident left a 23-year-old woman dead. Representatives from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the President George Bush Turnpike in Dallas, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas Department of Public Safety said 23-year-old Kyra Richardson was killed when the passenger vehicle she was in allegedly backed up to make a missed turn or exit when it was hit by another car. Emergency responders pronounced Richardson dead of her injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from the exchange with Midway Road.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
