On or about Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021, around 6:30 in the evening, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car sent a woman and a truck driver to the hospital. Officials from the PSP said the accident happened at the intersection of Route 22 and Route 119 in Salem, Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania State Police Troopers said a tractor-trailer driven by 74-year-old Alan Pratt allegedly ran a red light on eastbound Route 22 and struck a Kia Telluride driven by 31-year-old Lindsay Williams. Paramedics airlifted Pratt and Williams to nearby hospitals where they were last reported in critical condition with serious injuries.
Google Maps shows Salem Township is in Luzerne County, just west of Wilkes-Barre.
