On or about Friday, April 8th, 2022, around 1:30 in the afternoon, a serious accident between an SUV and a box truck sent a 65-year-old man to the hospital. Troopers from the MSP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Cleveland Street and US-231 in Crockery Township, Michigna.
Representatives from the Michigan State Police said an as-of-yet unidentified 65-year-old man was injured when the SUV he was in was allegedly hit by a box truck at the intersection of Cleveland Street and US-231. Paramedics cut the victim from the SUV and transported him to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, Crockery Township is about 26 miles northwest of Grand Rapids.
Police are still investigating the accident.
