Details:
On or about Thursday, November 4th, 2021, a serious accident between a pickup truck and a box truck sent one individual to the hospital. Deputies from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the northbound side of Interstate 43 near the exchange with Evergreen Drive in Big Bend, Wisconsin.
Law enforcement spokespeople from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified person was rushed to the hospital when a box truck and a pickup truck collided under unspecified circumstances while driving north on I-43. After the initial accident, the pickup truck burst into flames on the side of the road. Paramedics transported one person to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 43 cuts through the northern edge of Big Bend, which is about 24 miles southwest of downtown Milwaukee.
