Details:
On or about Saturday, May 28th, 2022, around 11:09 at night, a serious two-vehicle car accident with an alleged drunk driver sent one person to the hospital. Authorities from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the 1200 block of Guadalupe Street in San Antonio, Texas.
Officers from the San Antonio Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the Camry they were driving was allegedly hit by a Chevrolet Corvette at a high rate of speed along Guadalupe Street. Paramedics transported the driver of the Camry to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
Officials have since charged the driver of the Chevrolet Corvette with intoxication assault in connection with the crash.
Police are still investigating the incident.
