On or about Thursday, July 1st, 2021, around 10:20 in the morning, an accident between a dump truck and a cyclist sent one person to the hospital. Troopers from the MSP said the accident was reported in the 1200 block of Talbott Street in Rockville, Maryland.
Officers from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified person was rushed to the hospital after they were allegedly hit by a dump truck as they were riding their bike down or along Talbott Street. Emergency responders rushed the cyclist to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their initial report on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the 1200 block of Talbott Street is a short distance southeast of downtown Rockville.
