On or about Tuesday, November 17th, 2020, around 10:12 in the morning, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer sent one individual to the hospital. Local police said the accident happened on the Hood Canal Bridge in Poulsbo, Washington.
Officers said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when the SUV they were in and a tractor-trailer collided under unknown circumstances. The SUV sustained heavy front-end damage in the collision, and the driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was reportedly unhurt.
Google Streetview shows the Hood Canal Bridge is two lanes wide, which spans a body of water connecting Puget Sound and Squamish Harbor. Poulsbo is about 21 miles northwest of downtown Seattle.
Police expect to release more information in the coming days.
