On or about Monday, October 26th, 2020, around 4:04 in the afternoon, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident sent one man to the hospital. Troopers said that the accident happened on Interstate 86 near Exit 39 in Bath, New York.
State Police said that one as-of-yet unidentified man was injured when the 18-wheeler he was driving allegedly veered off the side of the road and struck a tree. Paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries.
Google Maps shows that Interstate 86 is four lanes, with a wide grassy median dividing north and southbound lanes of traffic. Bath is situated about 103 miles southeast of Buffalo.
