On or about Thursday, April 15th, 2021, an accident between a car and a pickup truck towing a flatbed trailer sent a pregnant woman to the hospital. Deputies from the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened on the southbound side of South Chadbourne Road near FM-765 in San Angelo, Texas.
Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said a Dodge pickup truck towing a flatbed trailer allegedly slammed into the back of a Nissan sedan at a high rate of speed. Paramedics transported the driver of the Nissan, a pregnant woman, to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was uninjured.
Officers cited the driver of the pickup truck with failure to control speed after the crash.
Multiple agencies assisted at the scene of the accident.
