On or about Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, an accident with an alleged drunk driver left one woman dead. Representatives from the Dallas Police Department said the accidnet was reported at or near the intersection of Northwest Highway and Shiloh Road in Dallas, Texas.
Authorities said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when the vehicle she was a passenger in allegedly struck the back of a box truck at Northwest Highway and Shiloh. Emergency responders pronounced the passenger in the vehicle dead of their injuries a short time after the collision. No other injuries were reported.
Police officers have since charged the driver of the vehicle with intoxication manslaughter in connection with the accident.
