Details:
On or about Monday, June 28th, 2021, around 8:40 in the morning, an accident between a dump truck and a car left one individual dead. Troopers from the USP said the accident was reported at the intersection of 1800 North and 1000 West in Logan, Utah.
Deputies from the Cache County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when their car was allegedly hit by a dump truck as they were attempting to turn at the intersection. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the car dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the dump truck was treated for minor injuries.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of 1800 North and 1000 West in Logan is about 82 miles north of downtown Salt Lake City.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
