On or about Monday, October 25th, 2021, around 10:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a train and a dump truck left one person dead. Troopers from the PSP said the accident was reported at a crossing on Route 51 in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania.
Officials from the Pennsylvania State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a dump truck allegedly struck a train that was rolling through a crossing on Route 51 near Jefferson Boulevard. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead after the accident, but police did not specify if they were in the dump truck or the train at the time of the accident.
