Details:
On or about Sunday, February 13th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, a hit-and-run accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Authorities from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection of Crowley Road and Steinburg Lane in Fort Worth, Texas.
Officers from the Fort Worth Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly struck by an SUV as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the roadway at Crowley Road and Steinburg Lane. After the initial accident, the SUV fled the scene. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Crowley Road and Steinburg Lane is on the south side of Fort Worth.
Police are still trying to track down the driver and vehicle that fled the scene.
