Details:
On or about Sunday, January 9th, 2022, around 2:45 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle rollover accident left one individual dead and sent another to the hospital. Deputies from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Interstate 20 near the exchange with Park Springs Boulevard in Arlington, Texas.
Investigators said an as-of-yet unidentified 34-year-old man was killed and his 24-year-old passenger was injured when the pickup truck they were in allegedly veered off the eastbound side of I-20 near the exchange with Park Springs Boulevard. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the pickup truck dead, while his 24-year-old passenger was transported to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 20 cuts east and west through Arlington, which is about 20 miles west of downtown Dallas.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
