Details:
On or about Monday, July 19th, 2021, around 1:33 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck claimed the life of one person and sent another to the hospital. Officials from the OSHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 6 and Bowling Green Road East in Wood County, Ohio.
Ohio State Highway Patrol officials said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed and another was injured when the pickup truck they were in was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer at the intersection of Bowling Green Road East and Highway 6. The driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead after the accident, while the passenger was rushed to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the incident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Bowling Green Road East and Highway 6 about 25 miles south of downtown Toledo.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
