On or about Monday, April 11th, 2022, around 6:00 in the morning, an accident between a logging tractor-trailer and a heavy-duty pickup truck left one person dead. Troopers from the MSP said the accident was reported along Highway 135 at Old Mill Loop in Mineral County, Montana.
Law enforcement spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the Ford F-350 they were driving allegedly collided with a logging tractor-trailer that had just pulled onto Highway 135. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the Ford F-350 dead of his injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from St. Regis.
Police are still looking into the cause of the collision.
