On or about Wednesday, February 10th, 2021, around 8:27 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck and a log truck left one individual dead. Officials from the OSP said the accident happened along Highway 6 near the intersection with Northwest Timber Road near Glenwood in Washington County, Oregon.
Troopers from the Oregon State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when a pickup truck and a log truck collided under unknown circumstances. Police said both the pickup and the log truck burst into flames after the initial collision. One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by EMS.
According to Google Maps, Glenwood is located about 34 miles northwest of downtown Portland.
Police expect to release more information about the accident as soon as it becomes available.
