Details:
On or about Sunday, March 20th, 2022, around 1:46 in the morning, an accident between an SUV and a truck towing a trailer left one person dead and sent three others to the hospital. Spokespeople from the UHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 70 in Emery County, Utah.
Officials from the Utah Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed and three others were injured when the SUV they were in allegedly collided with a trailer that was on the side of the roadway while the driver was checking the cargo. One passenger in the SUV was pronounced dead, while the driver and two juvenile passengers were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Green River.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
