On or about Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021, around 6:30 in the evening, an accident between a motorcycle, a car and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the 215 Freeway in Colton, California.
Troopers from the California Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were on allegedly struck a car, throwing the motorcycle rider into the lanes of oncoming traffic and into the path of a tractor-trailer. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead of his injuries a short time after the collision.
According to Google Maps, the 215 Freeway runs north and south through Colton, which is about 55 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.
Police are still working to pin down all the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
